Make a wheel difference in Tanzania with our Wheel Appeal!
We’re supporting a lady in Tanzania who is desperately ill – so much so that the Minister of Health of Tanzania is helping to support her treatment. She has bone cancer, and now cannot walk, so we are launching this Wheel Appeal, and really, wheely want to make a difference to her life.
Reportedly, the longest running recovery group in North Wales, DARE exists primarily for Drug & Alcohol Recovery Expeditions, helping everyone in recovery (and those who support others in recovery) from any of life’s hurts, habits and hangups, by taking them out onto the hills and mountains of North Wales (and further afield occasionally) and giving them a purpose and a hope for the future.
To raise money for our work, we are taking part in the Snowdonia Challenge – a 100K walk over 3 days.
We know that as we share this on social media, through our website, and by email, at least 1,500 people will see this appeal. If you’re one of the thousand – please consider giving at least £1, and this will cover the cost of the roof repair, and help plug the hole – not just in the roof – but in the finances of this worthwhile facility.
Beit Tikva – House of Hope – is a stage 2 recovery house in North Wales for men aged 22 – 65 years old who are ready to make the positive move back into community and work towards independent living.
We need a printer! In order to provide a service for a number of local community groups, projects, organisations and charities, we need a quality printer. Print costs – particularly for low volume printing – is prohibitively expensive for small groups and charities, and we are aiming to provide a solution.
